All You Need Is A DREAM !!

As she wrapped up her work and hopped into the cab Neha wondered “ why the same CCD“  ?

There was a huge smile on her face as she remembered their first meet at the CCD . This time, she had no clue why Adi had called her there, maybe has just bagged another big contract, she thought .

As she walked into the CCD towards the table, she saw Adi  in conversation with another guy at the table. Neha had never seen him before with Adi . 

“ Hey Neha, wanted you to meet a friend of mine. Adi said as he got up and pulled up a chair for Neha .

This is RD , Rahul Dsouza …  Met him thru a common friend at a Concert.

As RD shook hands with Neha , he said … “ A writer's hand “ and smiled . Neha was amused at the comment.

Adi explained “Neha RD is a big time book publisher. I happened to share  with him some extracts of your dairy and he thinks it's awesome.

Neha was kind of stumped at this sudden spotlight on her and her writings. She held Adi’s hand and said “ but Adi that was  so so amateurish,  I had just penned what I felt in those pages “

RD took on from there “Precisely, Neha . That’s what writing is all about.  Some stories are written in books, while some are confined to the heart. You chose to bare your heart into the pages . Your dairy touched the readers because when you wrote it was only you and your words . You wrote what you felt, what your heart wanted you to write .  Your characters are sketched from your personal experiences – Like your dream to write a story and Adi’s passion for  music.

Neha listened in rapt attention and said “  But RD, professional writing is something else ..

I have a team who would help you Neha . you can turn your dairy into a romantic inspiring novel, about real and relatable characters. I strongly feel that  this is what the generation of today needs – stories that give courage, hope and strength and love. Love is all that we need , isn’t it ? “ said RD calmly.

“ Just get started Neha, I know you have it in you. You can do it “ Adi said.

As they spoke and finished their coffee , RD took leave and asked Neha to join his office next month.

Neha had tears in her eyes as she looked at Adi and said “ I had no idea when you called me here that it would have to do something about my dream of becoming a writer“. I was just happy being a part of your dream journey Adi, and today you have opened up doors to see my dream come true “

You are my anchor, my strength and part of my success, aren’t you Neha?  Now , Let me be a part of your dream , I want you to see you succeed as a writer ,  sweetheart ! He hugged her .

This relationship doesn’t seem like two halves together to make a whole; rather it feels as if two wholes becoming an even greater whole—two individuals who are in love enough to respect each other’s independence and uniqueness.

The greatest gift you can give someone is your time coz when you dedicate your time , you  are offering a part of life that will never come back .

Six months later …………………….

Adi  is a popular name to reckon with in the music scene  doing concerts, Albums  with a huge fan following. He is in the process of setting up his own Music studio.

Neha manages her job and works on her maiden book  with RD’s team . She and Adi  are eagerly awaiting the book launch in a couple of months . Neha had planned to get her parents to Mumbai for the event and introduce them to Adi.

An evening, Adi and Neha meet at Powai lake, talking about their work, future and get nostalgic  as they looked back at the journey that was started a year ago . We have the power to make each other's dreams come true ...as they fondly recalled their journey .

A beep on Neha’s cell .. As she picks up the call she could hear mom “ Neha , Please come home this weekend, need to talk to you about a marriage proposal for you “.

Neha looked dazed at the sudden turn of events as she looked at Adi . One look into her eyes,  Adi could sense there was something disturbing about the call. Emotionally, they were at a stage where they didn’t need words to express their feelings !!

What awaits them Next ?   ……..
