Silent Glances …….

Am I late ?  the performances must have begun, echoed in Neha’s mind as she raced to the auditorium .

The hall was packed as she waded her way thru to a comfortable place from where she could catch the nearest view of the performers. she heard the VJ announce the next performance ..Oh !Its Adi’s, Just made it on time . Flashlights , Sound,..as he picked up  his guitar and walked on to the stage. Crowd erupted in to a loud cheer. Neha waved out to him as he took his position to start the show.

Their  glances met, and for a moment they just  stared at each other probably getting inspiration or energy of some sort. He caught her attention, her reaction was different from the others !

As Adi belted  out  the favourite numbers, " ALL OF ME ",   " KAL HO NA HO ",  the crowd  screamed with joy. Chants of "once more " echoed  through  the hall.

Next song is very close to my heart, I have written this a month ago sipping coffee at CCD looking at someone special...

And I have named the song  as  "Silent Glances"

 My eyes met yours for the first time
I have no clue what they saw in you !
From then on every moment of mine
A feeling as if everything was new !

That soulful eyes , wind blown hair
Your face got tattooed in my mind !

She didn’t miss a single moment of his performance. He kept his gaze on her while he played. No one seemed to exist at the venue and the look in his eyes as he sang seemed it was meant for her. 
That moment was so emotional and beautiful !

When the song was over, even the dim lights at the venue couldn’t hide  the blush on Neha’s face. Adi walked off the stage to a round of applause while the next performers took stage .  

Neha sat thru the rest of the show, barely registered anything that she saw after that.

Food counters were over crowded, Neha managed to get a pack of fries. Waiting for an auto, munching on the fries and  humming the Adi song,  everything seemed so nice !

A biker stopped right beside her, turned to her and asked “ Shall I drop you home, ?”

Neha could see Adi 's face thru  the helmet. For a while, she didn't know  how to.react. While the mind kept  sending negative signals for going with.a  stranger,  the heart was gently warming  to the flavor of a  new found friend.
" it would  be too much of a trouble for you,  I stay near  R city, a bit too far "Neha Said.
" that's not too far my place at powai. Come on "..
Neha  found  herself hopping on to the bike..


And  the ride begins!!! 

Life is not  about  the breaths you take, it's about  the moments that  take your breath away!!

Wasn't this edgy even when I gave my exams and interviews ...Rahul was in an array of thoughts as he drove back home. He wanted to make an honest impression on the girl, the sight of her father dashed all of that ...and all her dad had to say was a stoic " Hi".  Why is this process of Arranged Marriage highly flawed, all he wanted to create a soothing atmosphere for both so that they can bond well but now he was not sure how the scene at her home would be ...did he commit a mistake by asking the girl out without parents consent !? Will it cause trouble for her? He was genuinely rattled. Mom had already sounded him off that the girl's parents were quite orthodox and now if they come to know that not only he met the girl secretly but also landed right in front of her dad ... well, hell would break loose... Thoughts kept swirling in Rahul's mind as he was imagining the chaos at home if Shruti's dad would call up home and update about their meeting...

Coffee And His Magical Smile......

2nd March 2015.... It was one of those Manic Mondays, the scheduler popped up showing three back to back meetings as I carefully packed my stuff and strutted out of the office .. A good three hours later, done with the first meet which  was kind of boring while I was trying to look interested at the power point presentations and busy browsing through my whatapp messages . Sigh of relief when I saw  a ping that the next meetings were rescheduled by a couple of hours ! Had to while away some time , I found myself walking in to the local CCD ... queue guaranteed a wait for minimum 20 min !!!   Sigh , now with something as exciting as standing in the queue , eyes roved past the shop. Till I realized that there was another pair of eyes on me .  He was wearing a black hoodie, blue denim, hair disheveled ( a la SRK ) , laptop on the table and sipping his coffee.
