The Importance of Choosing Love

In our society, we often shy away from openly expressing love. We treat it as an obscenity, something to be whispered and hidden away. We fear that saying the word too often will lessen its power, as though we instinctively understand its weight and meaning.


But love is not just a word. Love is action. It is the willingness to be gentle, patient, caring, and understanding. It is the ability to put aside pride and self-interest for the one we love. It is the willingness to bear our most vulnerable selves and entrust them to another, knowing that they will be tender with our delicate hearts.


To truly love another, we must first love and understand ourselves. It is only then that we can choose to love another, to challenge them to be a better person, to help each other heal, grow, and encourage each other. Love is not just about the butterflies in our stomachs or the feverish infatuation we feel in the beginning. It is about creating a safe haven for each other's hearts and being willing to choose each other, no matter what.



We should not be embarrassed by love or fear opening ourselves up to another. The feeling of safety, warmth, and home that love provides outweighs any sadness or heartbreak that may come with it. Even when love fails or hurts, we should never give up on it. The joy and beauty that come with love are worth it, and we should celebrate and appreciate love every day, not just on special occasions.


Choosing love is one of the world's most selfless and bravest acts. It is something we should do every single day. So, let us not be embarrassed to express our love and show it to the world. Let us appreciate the utter absurdity of love and bask in its warmth. Let us choose love and spread its beauty throughout the world.


In conclusion, love is not just a word or a fleeting feeling. It is an action, a choice, and a commitment. Let us choose to love and appreciate those who love us. Let us spread love and kindness wherever we go, and let us not be embarrassed to express our love for others


Yes, as per the general perception ,this should have been a Valentine's day post ..but when love is not restricted to a single day ,why should a post be ?!

Wasn't this edgy even when I gave my exams and interviews ...Rahul was in an array of thoughts as he drove back home. He wanted to make an honest impression on the girl, the sight of her father dashed all of that ...and all her dad had to say was a stoic " Hi".  Why is this process of Arranged Marriage highly flawed, all he wanted to create a soothing atmosphere for both so that they can bond well but now he was not sure how the scene at her home would be ...did he commit a mistake by asking the girl out without parents consent !? Will it cause trouble for her? He was genuinely rattled. Mom had already sounded him off that the girl's parents were quite orthodox and now if they come to know that not only he met the girl secretly but also landed right in front of her dad ... well, hell would break loose... Thoughts kept swirling in Rahul's mind as he was imagining the chaos at home if Shruti's dad would call up home and update about their meeting...

Coffee And His Magical Smile......

2nd March 2015.... It was one of those Manic Mondays, the scheduler popped up showing three back to back meetings as I carefully packed my stuff and strutted out of the office .. A good three hours later, done with the first meet which  was kind of boring while I was trying to look interested at the power point presentations and busy browsing through my whatapp messages . Sigh of relief when I saw  a ping that the next meetings were rescheduled by a couple of hours ! Had to while away some time , I found myself walking in to the local CCD ... queue guaranteed a wait for minimum 20 min !!!   Sigh , now with something as exciting as standing in the queue , eyes roved past the shop.
